Welcome to Homegrown Meat Company! We are a family farm, located in Newark, IL, that has been raising chickens, pigs, and cows since 2021. We offer locally-raised meats, dairy products, fresh produce, and honey. We take pride in our meat, eggs, and dairy products because only the best will do. Our locally-raised meats are hormone-free so you can enjoy the excellent flavor without any of the additives you don't want in your food. We're looking forward to growing our business to continue to serve Newark and the surrounding areas. A hidden gem!
Family and I were doing some errands out in Plano and I happened to spot this on Google Maps when searching for ice cream shops. Drove over as we were intrigued on the combination of meat and ice cream and were extremely happy we did. Ice cream was a great price for a good quantity and very flavorful. The blueberry waffle cone was our all-around favorite. The meat selection was wonderful - very well trimmed and looked delicious. We bought some apple smoked bacon and a few other cuts of meat. Well worth the drive and highly recommend visit.

Saw their billboard along Rt 71 and decided to take a short detour for an ice cream cone. Glad I did! It’s a super cute store with real tasty ice cream, good prices, and very friendly employees.
I got the PB+Chocolate in a waffle cone. Three thumbs up.
