Job Type: Full-time
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Butcher to join our team. We are willing to train the right person!
The ideal candidate will have experience in cutting, trimming, and preparing meats to high-quality standards while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Customer service skills and attention to detail are essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities
-Cut, trim, debone, and prepare various meats (beef, pork, poultry, etc.)
-Ensure proper portioning and presentation of meat products
-Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
-Operate and maintain butcher equipment safely (saws, grinders, knives)
-Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies
-Properly store meats to ensure freshness and minimize waste
Qualifications
-Previous experience as a butcher or meat cutter preferred
-Knowledge of different cuts of meat and preparation techniques
-Ability to use hand tools and power equipment safely
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
-Good communication and customer service skills
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
